Gun Oily Fish (2017)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t really know if the picture I created using fish as a motif can be seen as unique; maybe my studies were insufficient? While I leave it to the viewer entirely to decide whether my picture is unique or not, the world is filled with fish that make interesting models. They are not very detailed, but upon seeing them, one feels the urge to create. This doesn’t only apply to fish, but how is the design of the living creature, of things considered to be unnecessary for survival, determined exactly? If it only evolves following adaptations to its natural habitat, there will be no useless parts. I enjoy coloring and adding unnecessary elements freely, and for people to find value in parts that would be considered useless.
